Public Relations and Government Affairs
- Handle all relations with the media, including press releases on industry issues.
- Make presentations to corporate boards, legislative committees, chambers of commerce, and regulatory agencies on behalf of the association.
- Create an association grassroots alert system.
- Organize members in volunteer campaign efforts.
- Coordinate all aspects of an association political action committee (PAC).
- Coordinate lobby efforts utilizing association leaders.
- Track legislation and regulatory proposals affecting association members and provide analysis of legislative and regulatory proposals to the Board.
- Monitor legislative or regulatory meetings and provide an executive summary or newsletter article.
